“According to my father, King Acorn, the reconstruction of Mobotropolis is going to cost 75,000,000,000 Mobian Dollars!” Princess Sally said to Sonic.
“WHAT?! Where is anybody ever gonna get that kind of money? That much dough doesn’t even exist!” Sonic replied.
Princess Sally stared at Sonic.
“You aren’t thinking that I have that kind of money, are you? All I have is about 600 dollars.”
Princess Sally stared at Sonic.
“Oh, I know what you’re saying. You expect me to just walk right in to Robotnik’s little fortress and steal it. Sorry, but I don’t really want to commit suicide today.”
“Sonic, we need you to get that money. You’re the only one who can do it,” Princess Sally said.
“How the heck do you expect me to do that?” Sonic asked.
Princess Sally responded, “Robotnik has five times that amount of money, in cash, hidden throughout eighty-five different offices he owns across the planet.”
“And how do you know this?”
“Rotor and I hacked into Robotnik’s computer.”
“Sal, I love you!”
“Sonic, you should know that Robotnik’s offices are hidden in different buildings in many different cities on Mobius, and are heavily guarded. Robotnik is believed to be in Chaos City at the moment. I am sure that he has set up traps for anyone, especially you, who tries to get to him or his offices.”
“And if I don’t come back?”
“Sonic, don’t even think that way. You will come back, and hopefully with the money.”
“You’re right, Sal. I’ll get you all that money so fast, you’ll never even know it was gone.”
“Hey Sonic,” Rotor said. He and Tails flew in on a round, blue, flying machine. “This is the Turbo Cruiser 5625XL. This machine can drive on land, fly through the sky, and sail on water. With this thing, nobody will ever be able to catch you or slow you down!”
“You sound like a commercial,” Sonic said.
Rotor, Tails, and Sally laughed.
“Hey Sonic, I’m going with you. I just can’t wait to kick Dr. Robotnik’s butt!” Tails yelled.
“Well then, you better get prepared, Tails, because we’re going in, and Eggman’s going down!” Sonic yelled back.
“Remember, you’re just going to get the money, and nothing else,” said Sally.
“It’s cool Sal, don’t worry about us,” Sonic said.
Rotor climbed out of the flying machine and approached Sonic. “Sonic, there’s something very important I need to tell you.”
“What is it, Rotor?” Sonic said.
“The Turbo Cruiser 5625XL is powered by a Chaos Emerald. If Dr. Robotnik finds out about and gets his hands on it, there is no limit to the damage he could cause. You must not let anyone touch the Turbo Cruiser!”
“I’ll be careful,” Sonic replied.
Amy Rose ran into the field where Sonic, Sally, Tails, and Rotor were standing. “Sonic, Sonic! Can I go with you to beat up Robotnik and steal all his money? It sounds like fun, can I go with you, please?”
Sonic said, “It’s gonna be awfully dangerous, Amy, I think you should stay here.”
“But Sonic,” said Amy, “I’ve been training as a fighter. I could take down Robotnik in 10 seconds! Don’t you trust me? Please let me go, PLEASE!”
“Amy, why don’t you go practice fighting on Tails?” Sonic replied.
Amy jumped into the Turbo Cruiser and started beating up Tails. Tails said, “Amy, I am not going to fight you. Ouch! Will you stop that?”
Sonic turned to Sally and said, “You know, Sal, I’m gonna be gone for at least six months. Are you sure everything’s going to be all right?”
“Everything will be fine here,” said Sally.
“I’ll miss you,” Sonic said.
“I’ll miss you too.” Sonic and Sally threw their arms around each other, and kissed.
“Amy, I told you, I WON’T FIGHT YOU!” Tails screamed. “OUCH! STOP THAT!”
“What is with Amy Rose?” Sally asked.
“Oh, she just had too much sugar today,” Sonic said. “You really don’t think she should go with us, do you, Sally?”
“She can handle it, Sonic. Look at her.”
Amy was still beating on Tails, and Tails’s nose was bleeding.
“Amy, that’s enough, you can come!” Sonic shouted.
“Yippee! I get to go on an adventure, yippee!” Amy sang gleefully.
“Well, I guess we better get going now, we have eighty-five places to hit.” Sonic said. He then ran into the Turbo Cruiser and started the engine.
“Goodbye, Sonic,” Princess Sally said.
“Bye, Sal.”
“Bye, Sonic,” said Rotor.
“See ya around, Rotor.” Sonic took the wheel of the Turbo Cruiser and flew off into the sky.
“Do you want a tissue for your nose, Tails?” Sonic asked.
“I’m fine,” Tails grunted.
It was a quiet afternoon in the city of Mobotropolis, on the Planet Mobius. Doctor Ivo Eggman Robotnik had recently taken control over the entire planet, but was eventually defeated by Sonic the Hedgehog and the Freedom Fighters. Reconstruction of the city of Mobotropolis was under way, but was soon discovered to be a very expensive project. Robotnik had turned the city into a scrap heap, and had also stolen billions of dollars and many resources. Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles “Tails” Prower the Fox, and Amy Rose the Hedgehog are now out to collect money from Robotnik’s offices throughout the world, and restore the city of Mobotropolis. Many long and dangerous journeys lie ahead of them, and the fate of Mobotropolis, and possibly the world is in their hands.
Sonic, Tails, and Amy arrived in Green Valley City. It was a small, clean city filled with houses and small buildings, and packed with trees. Sonic the Hedgehog parked the Turbo Cruiser, engaged the alarm, and everyone got out. Sonic, Tails, and Amy walked down a sidewalk on Seventh Street. Everything looked normal, cars drove slowly down the street, and animals walked along the sidewalk, and everyone seemed happy.
“So, how do we find Dr. Robotnik’s office?” Tails asked.
“That’s a good question, little bro,” Sonic replied. “Where would a big, fat, evil, maniacal villain hide his office?”
“In an old, run-down abandoned building?” Tails said.
“Most likely,” Sonic answered.
“Where are we going to find one of those?” Amy asked. “All the buildings here look so nice.”
“We just have to keep our eyes open,” said Sonic.
The three heroes soon came to an abandoned building with the address of 1358 Oak Avenue. “Hey Sonic, this building looks kind of suspicious.” Tails said.
“Hmm...” Sonic replied. There was a small “R” scratched in the front door. “‘R,’ I wonder, does that ‘R’ stand for Robotnik?”
“So, what do we do?” Amy asked.
Sonic tried the doorknob. It didn’t move. “Locked! Just as I suspected. I guess there’s only one way to get in.”
“What if it’s the wrong building?” Tails asked. “Couldn’t we get arrested?”
“Tails, Tails, Tails,” Sonic said. “One thing you are gonna learn from being around me, is that everybody trusts the hedgehog! If we break in, and the cops get us, they’ll let us go when they know they’re dealing with Sonic the Hedgehog. Everybody loves me and there’s nothing that I can’t take care of.”
“With an ego as big as yours who needs...”
“TAILS!”
“Sorry, Sonic.”
Amy giggled.
“Okay, now, lets get serious. Stand back, everybody, I’m goin’ in!” Sonic the Hedgehog rolled up into a ball and performed a Sonic Spin, and busted through the front door.
“Wow, that was so cool!” Amy was amazed.
Sonic, Tails, and Amy walked into the abandoned building. The inside of the building looked as if nobody had set foot in there for at least twenty years. The whole inside of the building was covered with dirt, dust, and spider webs.
“Hey look, stairs!” Amy said. “Where do they go?”
“They go down.” Sonic said.
Sonic, Tails, and Amy walked down the stairs. When they reached the bottom, they saw a metal door with a keypad to the left of it. There was a screen on the keypad that said “Enter Personal Identification Number.” Sonic entered the number, 12345. “Access Denied.”
“Here, let me try,” Tails said. Tails reached for the keypad.
Sonic said, “Tails, the number is not what you’re thinking. Don’t even try it, it will probably set off an alarm.”
“Sorry, Sonic. But how did you know what...”
Amy giggled.
“So, how do we get in?” Tails asked.
Sonic rolled up into a ball and performed a Sonic Spin, and crashed into the door, but when he hit the door, he bounced off and fell on the floor. Sonic got up. “Ow! That really hurt! Alright, so what’s plan B?”
“Sonic, do you have a screwdriver?” Tails asked.
“Yeah, sure, I carry a screwdriver with me everywhere I go.” Sonic said sarcastically.
Amy picked up a long, straight, little piece of metal off the floor. “How about this?”
“Perfect!” Tails took the piece of metal from Amy. Tails unscrewed the keypad off of the wall. Then he reached in and started messing with the wires.
“Tails! What are you doing, you’ll get el...” Sonic shouted.
Tails got an electric shock and fell backwards on the floor. The metal door slid open. Sonic walked through the door.
Amy approached Tails and said, “Tails, are you okay?”
“I’m fine.” Tails got up and dusted himself off. Tails and Amy walked through the door.
Inside the door, there were at least thirty robots at work on some top-secret project. When Sonic, Tails, and Amy entered the room, all of the robots stopped what they were doing, and there was a computer voice that started saying, “INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT...” The robots started shooting at the three heroes. Tails and Amy Rose quickly escaped the room, and Sonic the Hedgehog performed a Sonic Spin and crashed into each of the robots one at a time, until they all stopped moving.
“That wasn’t so bad,” Sonic said. “Okay, it’s safe to come in now!”
Tails and Amy entered the room. “So, where’s the money?” Tails asked.
“Well, I found this row of file cabinets over in the corner, over there.” Sonic pointed to a row of file cabinets in the left of the room.
Sonic, Tails, and Amy started pulling on all the handles of the file drawers. “They’re all locked.” Amy said.
“I got an idea,” Sonic said. Sonic grabbed the hand of one of the broken metal robots. “Get out of the way, everybody!” Sonic tore the tip of the finger off the robot, pointed it at all of the locks on the file cabinets, and pressed a tiny red button inside the finger. The robotic finger fired a laser at all of the locks on the file cabinets.
Amy walked over to the cabinets and opened all of the drawers. “Hey, I think I found the money!” The second to bottom drawer of the second cabinet on the left contained 500,000,000 Mobian Dollars in cash.
“Wow!” Sonic said. “Have you ever seen all that money?”
Tails got a cloth bag that was lying on the floor, and put all of the money in the bag.
“We have 500,000,000 dollars. One down! Only eighty-four more of Eggman’s offices to hit. Alright everybody, lets go!”
Outside of the office, Sonic, Tails, and Amy went inside a restaurant. They all ate chili dogs and drank soda.
“That place was scary,” Amy said.
“It was no problem,” Sonic said. “Besides, we all got $500,000,000!”
“Yeah, but we still have to get $74,500,000,000,” said Tails.
“Don’t worry about it, Tails. 75 Billion Dollars is nothing we can’t handle!”
“How many places do we have to hit?” Amy asked.
“Eighty-four more of Eggman’s offices,” Sonic said. “They shouldn’t be hard to find. Besides, Sally gave me an atlas of Mobius.” Sonic opened the atlas and pointed to Green Valley City. “See, here’s where we are, and this is Starlight Metropolis,” Sonic pointed to a place named Starlight Metropolis, “which is only 650 miles from here. Another thing I like about this map is that page 278 shows a list of seventy-nine different cities where Dr. Robotnik has been sighted. He definitely has offices set up in all of those places, except for Mobotropolis, because we all know that he’s too much of a coward to ever return there!” Sonic closed the Mobius Atlas. “We just need to go to seven other cities where Ro-butt-nik might have been. We’ll ask around. Well, I suppose we better get going now. You guys stay put, and I’ll go get the car.”
“We’ll be right here,” said Amy.
“I’ll be back in a flash!” Sonic said. Sonic the Hedgehog went out the front door of the restaurant. He ran three miles in fifteen seconds to the parking lot where the Turbo Cruiser was sitting. Sonic drove the Turbo Cruiser back to the restaurant and picked up Tails and Amy.
The time was 8:46 P.M. Mobius Western Standard Time. The sun was down and the sky was black. Sonic was flying the Turbo Cruiser over the Green Valley Forest. Amy Rose and Tails were fast asleep. They were all headed toward Starlight Metropolis. Sonic’s cellular phone rang. Sonic answered the phone. “Hello?”
Princess Sally said, “How is everything going, Sonic?”
“Everything’s fine, Sal,” Sonic replied. “I’ve only been gone for eleven hours, there’s nothing to worry about, we’ll be fine. We already got 500,000,000 Dollars.”
“That’s good to hear,” Sally said. “I love you, Sonic.”
“I love you too.” Sally ended the call, and Sonic hung up the phone.
Sonic, Tails, and Amy arrived in Starlight Metropolis at 12:30 A.M. Sonic parked the Turbo Cruiser by a restaurant named McFarley’s, which has over fifty thousand fast food restaurants across Mobius. Sonic said, “I’m gonna go get some coffee, you all want some coffee?”
Tails and Amy both said, “Yes, please.”
Sonic walked in to the McFarley’s and got three cups of coffee.
Sonic, Tails, and Amy walked down 89th Street after drinking their coffee.
Tails said, “When are we gonna get there? I wanna kill Robotnik! When are we gonna get there? What time is it? Huh? Where’s Robotnik’s office? Hey, did you know I have two tails, that’s why my name is Tails, isn’t that cool? Huh? Isn’t that just so cool? Hey, I was thinki...”
“Shut up!” Sonic and Amy said in unison.
“It looks like somebody had too much coffee!” Sonic said.
“No kidding!” Amy replied.
Starlight Metropolis was a huge city with tall buildings and bright lights. Popular brand names were posted on signs and billboards everywhere, and there was a McFarley’s Restaurant at every other block. Sonic, Tails, and Amy came to a door with a sign that said 13582 North Grand Avenue.
“What the heck?!” Sonic said. “There’s nothing here, just a door that goes nowhere.” Sonic opened the door and went through it. “See, I’m still outside, in this empty alley.”
Tails and Amy walked around the door and stood by Sonic. Behind the door, there was just an empty alley and a trash can.
“Hey Sonic,” Amy said. “Why is that trash can glowing?”
“Maybe everybody here has glowing trash!” Tails said.
“Let’s see what happens when I kick it over!” Sonic kicked over the trash can, and under the can there was a small wooden door. Sonic stamped his left foot on the door and the door fell through a hole. “Well, what are you waiting for? Lets go!” Sonic jumped down the hole.
“Are you sure that’s safe?” Amy asked.
“Probably not,” Tails responded. “But who cares? We gotta get Robotnik’s money, and this is the only way to do it!” Tails and Amy jumped down the hole.
Sonic, Tails, and Amy landed on a slide that spiralled 3 levels under the ground. The three heroes landed in a room surrounded by brick walls with no doors and windows.
“What the heck is going on?” Sonic screamed. “We’re trapped here!”
“What are we going to do?” Tails asked.
“There’s gotta be a way out, because no idiot would build a room with no exit,” Sonic said.
“Is this the entrance to Dr. Robotnik’s office?” Amy Rose asked.
“Most likely,” Sonic replied. “There has got to be an entrance somewhere, but Eggman doesn’t want anyone to find it.”
“Hey, I found something!” Tails shouted.
“What is it?” Sonic asked.
“Its a little black button about the size of the tip of a pencil. Its over here in the corner.” Tails pointed to the corner of the room where the two walls met.
“Well, push it,” Amy said.
Tails pushed the little black button. Suddenly, the wall opposite the end of the slide opened. On the inside of the entrance, there was a metal door with a keypad beside it, which said, “Enter Personal Identification Number.”
“Oh, great! Not this again!” Sonic said. “Tails, just start pounding all the buttons.”
Tails pounded the keypad and hit all of the buttons randomly. The keypad repeated saying “Access denied,” over and over again. “Sonic, this isn’t gonna work,” Tails said.
“Ya got any better ideas?” Sonic replied.
“Uh...,” Tails said, “Uh... uh... um... no.” Tails kept pounding on the keypad, and suddenly a siren went off. Hundreds of robots came through the metal door and fired lasers at Sonic, Tails, and Amy.
“Oh, great!” Amy said.
“Amy, grab my hand!” Tails shouted.
Amy took Tails’s hand and Tails used his two tails like a helicopter and flew Amy Rose up the slide, and outside to safety, after two robots almost shot them. Sonic performed a Sonic Spin and crashed into each of the robots, one at a time.
“AHH!” Sonic screamed. One of the robots shot him in the leg, and it started bleeding. But Sonic was okay and he managed to destroy all of the robots in the room. “Tails, Amy, come down here, it’s safe now!” Sonic shouted to Tails and Amy.
Tails and Amy came back down the slide. “Sonic, are you okay?” Amy asked.
“I’m fine, except I got shot in the leg,” Sonic replied. “Anyone got a bandage?”
Amy walked into the room that the robots came from, and she found a roll of paper towels on the counter in the right of the room. Amy brought the paper towels to Sonic, and tore off three of them. “Sonic, I hope this will work.” Amy wrapped the paper towels around Sonic’s injured leg.
“Thanks Amy,” Sonic replied. “Don’t worry about me, it’s nothing, everything’s cool.”
Sonic, Tails, and Amy walked into the room. There were a bunch of tables with beakers filled with green, purple, and yellow chemicals.
“It looks like some sort of laboratory or something,” Tails said.
“So, where’s the money?” Amy asked.
“Probably in that office over there,” Sonic said as he pointed to a door and windows in the back of the left part of the room.
Tails tried the doorknob of the office. “Locked!”
“Stand back everybody,” Sonic said. Sonic rolled up into a ball and performed his world famous Sonic Spin, and crashed through the door. “Ouch, that kinda hurt!”
Tails and Amy walked through the door and met Sonic.
“Well, the money is probably in one of those file cabinets,” Tails said.
The three heroes knocked over all of the file cabinets and started busting them open.
“Hey, I think I found the money!” Amy said. She handed the cash to Sonic.
Sonic counted the money. “Hey, there’s a billion bucks here!”
“Wow, I’ve never seen that much money!” Tails said.
“So, how do we get out of this place?” Amy Rose asked.
“There’s an elevator over there,” Sonic said as he pointed to an elevator in the left corner of the office.
Sonic, Tails, and Amy used the elevator and ended up back on the streets of Starlight Metropolis. Suddenly, there was a loud beeping that was coming from Sonic’s backpack.
“What the heck is that?” Tails asked.
“Oh, shoot! That’s the alarm for the Turbo Cruiser 5625XL, somebody must have broke in!” Sonic said.
Sonic started running towards the parking lot where the Turbo Cruiser was parked, and Tails flew Amy and followed Sonic. When they got there, they found a short man breaking the window of the Turbo Cruiser.
“Who the heck are you, and what are you doing here?” Sonic shouted at the man.
“I’m stealing your stupid little car, you miserable rodent,” the man answered.
“Get away from the car,” Sonic said to the man, “And who are you? There are only two people who call me ‘rodent’ and you are neither of them.”
“I’m Dr. Ivo Robotnik’s nephew, Charley,” the man said as he dented the door of the car with his hammer.
“Robotnik’s nephew is Snively, and you are not Snively,” Sonic replied.
“Snively is my brother, you idiot!” Charley bashed the windshield in with the hammer.
Tails pounced on the strange man and started beating on him. “Nobody ever touches the car, do you hear me?!” Tails screamed.
Sonic and Amy jumped on the man and started attacking him. Charley pulled out a gun and shot Sonic in the foot.
“SONIC!” Tails screamed. Charley started laughing and did not appear to be in any pain. At that moment, Tails bit Charley’s nose, and it started bleeding like crazy.
“Ow, you son of a... I can’t believe you did that... you moronic... you... you fight like a girl!” Charley got up and ran away.
Tails stood up, and spit the blood and little pieces of skin from Charley’s nose.
Sonic got up and patted Tails on the back. “That took a lot of guts, Tails. Don’t worry, you don’t fight like a girl.”
“Are you okay, Sonic?” Tails asked.
“Yeah,” Sonic replied, “I just got shot a couple of times. It happens all the time, I’m fine.” Sonic still had the strength to walk, and he walked to the trunk of the Turbo Cruiser and put the cash in it. Then everybody got into the car, and they drove to the repair shop. The Turbo Cruiser was repaired, and they flew off into the sky.
Sonic flew the Turbo Cruiser and Tails and Amy sat on the back seat.
Amy Rose said to Tails, “You know, you saved my life back at Robotnik’s office. Also, that was really great, the way you stood up to Charley.”
“It was nothing,” Tails replied.
“No Tails, it was something,” Amy kissed Tails on his furry cheek.
“I love you Amy,” Tails said and then he put his arms around Amy, and hugged her. He got poked by Amy’s hedgehog spikes, but it didn’t hurt Tails.
“I love you too Tails,” Amy said. They both kissed.
“Hey Amy, um... well... I think that maybe we’re a little too young to do this,” Tails said.
“Maybe you’re right,” Amy replied. “Let’s listen to the radio.”
“Hey Sonic,” Tails said, “how ‘bout some music?”
“On one condition, Tails,” Sonic said, “you drive. I’ve been drivin’ ever since we left Mobotropolis, and I need some shut-eye.”
“Sure thing, Sonic,” Tails replied.
“Just try to get us there in one piece,” Sonic said.
“Where are we going, anyway?” Tails asked.
Sonic looked at the Mobius Atlas for a few minutes and said, “Lets go to Marble Town. Just fly east for 325 miles, and then turn south for 467 miles.”
While the Turbo Cruiser was still flying, Sonic got out of the driver’s seat, and reclined in the passenger seat. Tails got up, and sat in the driver’s seat and flew the Turbo Cruiser, then he turned on the radio.
The time was 6:35 A.M. Mobius Central Standard Time. Sonic the Hedgehog was fast asleep in the passenger seat of the Turbo Cruiser, and was snoring loudly. Miles “Tails” Prower was carefully flying the Turbo Cruiser. Amy Rose was on the back seat, playing an electronic hand-held video game. The three adventurers were headed toward Marble Town, and many other places where Doctor Ivo Eggman Robotnik had set up an office, to collect seventy-five billion Mobian Dollars, which would be spent on the reconstruction of the city of Mobotropolis. They had already collected 1,500,000,000 Dollars.
Over many months, and visits to several different places across the Planet Mobius, Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles “Tails” Prower, and Amy Rose have broke in to numerous offices owned by Doctor Ivo Eggman Robotnik, battled nasty robots, and stolen billions of dollars from Robotnik. It wasn’t really stealing, because Robotnik stole most of that money from the Mobius Government. The three heroes will give the money to the city of Mobotropolis to be used for the reconstruction of the city. Mobotropolis is the capital city of Mobius, but was destroyed and polluted by Robotnik in the days when he had managed to overthrow the government and take control over the entire planet of Mobius. Sonic, Tails, and Amy have been enduring a long and hard journey to collect the money, and finally, they have come close to their goal, and have collected 73,000,000,000 Mobian Dollars in cash. This money took months to recover, but they only have two billion dollars to go. Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles “Tails” Prower, and Amy Rose have arrived in Chaos City.
Chaos City is a city in south-eastern Mobius with a population of over fifteen million. When Sonic, Tails, and Amy arrived in the city, the place was crowded, polluted, and filled with crime. Tall buildings, factories, buses, and cars were everywhere.
“Gee, this place looks pretty messed up,” Sonic said.
“I can’t even breathe in this filthy polluted place,” Tails said as he was coughing.
“Can we get out of here?” Amy asked.
“As soon as find Robotnik’s place and get the money,” Sonic answered. “It’s a good thing I parked the Turbo Cruiser seven miles back over by those trees.”
Sonic, Tails, and Amy started walking down Park Street.
“Park Street! Is this supposed to be a joke? This place looks like a garbage dump,” Sonic said.
At that moment, a skunk ran over to Sonic, held a gun to his head, and said, “Give me all your money!”
Sonic flung the skunk off of him and knocked him on the ground. Amy picked up the skunk’s gun, while Tails punched him in the face. Amy pointed the gun at the skunk and said, “Big mistake, pal!”
“I hate to say this, but you’re the one who made the mistake, girl,” the skunk said. At the moment, he got up and released a horrible-smelling spray on Sonic, Tails, and Amy, which is what skunks usually do, except this one was pure evil.
“Oh, sick!” Tails said and started coughing.
The skunk ran away. Amy used his gun and shot at him, but didn’t hit him. “Coward!” Amy yelled.
“What do we do now?” Tails said as he was still coughing.
“We find Robotnik’s office,” Sonic replied.
“But we smell terrible!” Tails said.
Sonic replied, “Who are you trying to impress?”
“I wonder if that guy works for Robotnik,” Amy said as she, Sonic, and Tails continued walking down the street.
“Probably not,” Sonic said, “He’s just a common criminal.”
“There’s nothing common about that smell!” Tails said angrily.
“Get over it, Tails,” Sonic replied, “It wont kill you.”
“Are you sure?” Tails said.
“Where’s Robotnik’s office?” Amy asked.
“Geez, it could be anywhere in this run down filthy city,” Sonic said.
Suddenly, a black limousine stopped on the side of the street were Sonic, Tails, and Amy were. The window on the side towards the rear of the car rolled down, and a voice from inside said, “Well well well! What do we have here? It’s nice to see you again, you miserable blue rodent! I see you brought two of your little friends.”
“Ro-butt-nick! You evil, slimy, fat, maniac!” Sonic shouted.
Suddenly, three robots came behind Sonic, Tails, and Amy, and threw a net over them. Then, the robots tied a rope around them and threw them into the limousine.
Once they were inside the limousine, the door closed and the car started moving. Dr. Robotnik, who was sitting on the back seat, said, “So, what brings you three to Chaos City? My God! You smell like you came out of the sewer!”
“You’re gonna die, Ro-butt-nik!” Sonic said.
“Oh, what’s that? I’m gonna die, you say? Ha ha ha ha ha! You make me laugh, rodent. I’ve already died, you fool. Now it’s your turn! But first, I’m going to hold you in my little torture chamber which I designed myself. Then, I will inform the whole miserable planet that I have captured you, the world famous hero. They will all lose their will to live, and they will be forced into concentration camps that I have built across Mobius. Some will be turned into robots, and some will be killed. Then, at the time when all my operations are complete, you will die!”
“It won’t work, Eggman!” Sonic said. “The Mobius Government already knows your plans, and the Army is ready to attack you at any second.”
“The Government has already been eliminated,” Robotnik replied, “And King Acorn is dead! And so is your little lover girl, Princess Sally!”
Sonic, Tails, and Amy gasped.
“No, that can’t be! NOO!” Sonic screamed. “You evil slime!” Sonic lunged forward and tried to grab Robotnik. “AHH! I’ll kill you!” Sonic was restrained by the net that he, Tails, and Amy were trapped in, and he fell back into the seat.
“Come on, Sonic,” Robotnik said, “kill me. You know you can do it. Don’t you just hate me, hedgehog? Wouldn’t you just love nothing more than to destroy me? Come on, kill me!”
Sonic started to cry, but stopped himself and said, “You’re gonna burn, Robotnik.”
“Oh boo hoo, what’s the matter, hedgehog?” Robotnik said making fun of Sonic. “Are you sad because I killed all of your little friends?”
Suddenly, the sound of a telephone ringing came from Sonic’s backpack.
“What was that?” Robotnik asked.
“Sonic, isn’t that your cell phone?” Tails said.
“Yeah, that’s my cellular phone,” Sonic replied. “Sally is the only one who ever calls on my cell phone. Sally’s not dead, Robotnik, you big fat liar!”
“Ha ha ha ha ha!” Robotnik laughed. “It doesn’t matter, because she will be soon enough! My troops are already on their way to Mobotropolis!”
Sonic’s cell phone continued to ring. Sonic said, “If I could just get that phone...”
“Well you can’t fool,” Robotnik said, “You’re all tied up, ha ha ha!”
The limousine was arriving at a large, thirty story building. At that moment, an airplane flew towards the large building from the other direction.
“It looks like we’re almost home,” Robotnik said, “I can’t wait until I get to put you in your little cage and torture you. Oh, it’s gonna be so much fun!”
“Hey Ro-butt-nik,” Sonic said, “What is that plane doing there?” Sonic pointed out the front window. His phone was still ringing.
Robotnik looked towards the front of the car and saw the plane and said, “What? There aren’t supposed to be any planes coming in today, what’s going on?”
At that moment, Sonic used all the energy he had, and managed to go into a Sonic Spin and busted out of the net, and then hit Robotnik on the head.
Robotnik’s face was bleeding and he said, “AHH! You miserable little...”
Sonic did another Sonic Spin and tore open the roof of the limousine and jumped out. Tails grabbed Amy and flew her out of the car.
Robotnik had his hands on his head and was trying to ease the pain of the injury Sonic caused. He noticed that his three prisoners escaped from the car and said, “You can’t do that, you idiots, you’re all gonna die!”
Sonic, Tails, and Amy ran away from Robotnik’s limousine, and away from his office building. The limo drove into a garage in the building, and at that moment, the airplane dropped a bomb on the building and it exploded. One third of the building was destroyed, and pieces of stone, metal, and glass were falling everywhere. Two people managed to escape the building.
“Oh my God, Robotnik’s building was blown up! It’s a good thing we got out of that car when we did, or we would’ve been killed!” Sonic said.
“Who were those people who escaped?” Amy asked.
“One of them was probably Robotnik,” Sonic replied. “It seems like he manages to live through everything.” Sonic’s phone was still ringing.
“Sonic, your phone,” Tails said.
“Oh yeah, you’re right, the phone!” Sonic said as he reached into his backpack and pulled out the cellular phone. Sonic answered it, “Hello?”
“Sonic,” Princess Sally said. “Where are you, and why did it take so long for you to answer the phone? Are you okay?”
“We’re in Chaos City,” Sonic said, “Robotnik tried to catch us, and we took a little ride in his limousine. Right after we got out, some guy dropped a bomb on his building.”
“I know,” Sally said, “We sent the military to attack Robotnik after we learned of his plans for world domination and located his headquarters.”
“Way past cool, Sally!” Sonic said. “But Ro-butt-nik told us that his troops are on the way to Mobotropolis.”
“They’ve been stopped,” Sally said.
“Sal, you’re always on top of things, aren’t ya?!”
“Good luck Sonic, I have to go now.”
“Bye, Sally. I love you.” Sonic hung up.
“Well,” Sonic said to Tails and Amy, “What do ya say we go get Robotnik’s money and get out of this dump?”
“Sounds like a plan to me, Sonic,” Tails said.
Sonic, Tails, and Amy ran over to the pile of rubble that used to be part of Dr. Robotnik’s office building. Amy Rose walked towards a shiny metal box that was lying in a pile of rubble. It was a safe which had a keyhole in the door.
“Hey, where’d this safe come from?” Amy asked.
“Safe?” Sonic said, “Lemme see!” Sonic ran towards Amy.
“So, how do we get it open?” Amy asked.
“Stand back, Amy,” Sonic said. Sonic the Hedgehog rolled up into a ball and performed his world famous Sonic Spin. He crashed into the safe that was lying in the pile of scraps, and busted the door off of the safe. Money started flying everywhere. Sonic and Amy grabbed as much money as they could. Sonic looked over at Tails who was digging through scraps a few yards away from Sonic and Amy. Sonic said, “Tails, get your butt over here and help us collect all this money!”
“Coming, Sonic,” Tails said. Tails ran over to Sonic and Amy and the three of them grabbed all the money that was flying in the air.
Sonic took off his backpack and put in all of the money that he, Tails and Amy collected. “Hey, there’s more in this safe!” Sonic said as he emptied all the contents of the safe into his backpack.
“Wow, there’s got to be two billion dollars here!” Tails said.
“You know what that means,” Sonic said, “We got seventy-five billion dollars, and it’s time to go home!”
Sonic, Tails, and Amy went back to the Turbo Cruiser and put all of the money in the trunk of the car. Lying in the trunk, there was seventy-five billion dollars, all in Million Mobian Dollar Bills.
“Wow, have you ever seen all that money?” Amy said.
“I didn’t even know that much money existed!” Tails said.
“And it’s all going to pay for the reconstruction of Mobotropolis,” Sonic said.
“Aw, Sonic, can’t we keep just a little bit?” Tails asked.
“Nope,” Sonic replied.
“Just a couple of million?” Tails begged. “That’s not that much, there’s seventy-five billion there, can’t we just keep a couple million dollars?”
“Nope,” Sonic said as he, Tails, and Amy got into the Turbo Cruiser.
“Come on, Sonic,” Amy Rose said, “Can’t we keep just a teeny weeny bit?”
“Nope,” Sonic replied.
“Come on, Sonic, just a little bit, please?” Tails said.
“Nope,” Sonic replied.
“Just a little bit, please?” Tails begged.
“Nope.”
“Please?”
“Nope.”
“Pretty Please?”
“Nope.”
“Please, please, please, please, please?”
“Nope.”
“Please?”
And the argument went on for hours. Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles “Tails” Prower the Two-Tailed Fox, and Amy Rose the Hedgehog had together collected seventy-five billion dollars which was needed to pay for the reconstruction of the city of Mobotropolis. They flew 4,762 miles from Chaos City to Mobotropolis. After months of travelling, collecting money, beating up villains and robots, and narrowly escaping death, Sonic, Tails, and Amy have arrived home in Mobotropolis.
Sonic drove the Turbo Cruiser through Mobotropolis to the Castle of Acorn. Princess Sally opened the gate for them, and Sonic parked the car inside the gate. Sonic got out of the Turbo Cruiser while Tails and Amy were still asleep inside.
“Hey, Sally, I happened to make a little money while I was away,” Sonic said.
“Oh, Sonic, you got the seventy-five billion, you’re so wonderful!” Princess Sally said. She ran over to Sonic and hugged and kissed him. “I missed you so much,” she said.
“I missed you too, Sal,” Sonic said.
Tails was still inside the Turbo Cruiser when he woke up. He said, “Hey, where are we, what’s going on?”
Amy Rose woke up and said, “I think we’re home!”
“Is that possible,” Tails said, “We’ve been driving for... for... how long have we been driving?”
“A few days, I think,” Amy said. She and Tails got out of the Turbo Cruiser and walked towards Sonic and Princess Sally.
“Tails! Amy Rose! It’s so nice to see you again!” Princess Sally said.
“It’s nice to see you too, Aunt Sally,” Tails said.
“Its been so long since you called me that!” Sally said.
“Hi, Princess Sally,” Amy Rose said, “You should’ve seen us, we kicked Dr. Robotnik’s butt!”
“That’s wonderful Amy,” Princess Sally replied, “We’ll talk all about it over dinner.”
Sonic the Hedgehog, Princess Sally, Tails, and Amy Rose started walking towards the castle.
“Hey Sally,” Sonic said, “Have you ever heard of Robotnik’s nephew, Charley?”
“I thought Robotnik’s nephew was Snively,” Princess Sally said.
“Well, apparently Robotnik has two nephews,” Sonic said, “He tried to steal our car, but we stopped him and Tails messed up his face.”
“What do you mean?” Sally asked.
“Well,” Sonic replied, “Tails bit his nose off, and Charley went home, crying to his mommy.”
“Ha ha, that’s funny,” Sally laughed.
